Nerilus International has announced a Two Million Naira (N2,000,000.00) scholarship fund for outstanding youth seeking to attend the Global Analyst Training Program, a mini-MBA focused on providing Young Executives the skills, knowledge, and exposure necessary to advance their career in analysis, strategy, operations and management consulting oriented roles. The program offers career-minded graduates a competitive head-start and a meaningful introduction to a thriving and lasting career.

According to Jacob Morgan, author of The Future of Work: Attract New Talent, Build Better Leaders, and Create a Competitive Organization, “What you learned in school and the diploma you earned is important for getting a job, but it isn’t everything you need to know.” He further noted that, “The big challenge for a lot of people today is that they typically learn something and they assume that what they learn is going to carry with them for the rest of their lives.”

Akinwande Akinsulire, the Managing Partner of Nerilus International, in his address says, “lack of requisite skills to deliver on the job is still one of the major issues employers are confronting in the workplace. Even though, a number of young Nigerians graduate with good grades from their respective tertiary institutions, most of them do not possess essential skills required to thrive in a 21st century workplace.” He further noted that, the management consulting giant, Nerilus International is happy to partner with a dynamic and innovative analyst education provider in Africa, Global Analyst Academy in equipping the Africa workforce and preparing African youth for the future of work.

The Global Analyst Training Program covers Business Analysis & Market Research, Effective Data and Information Presentation, Big-Data Analytics, Strategic Thinking and Problem-solving, Business Communications, Accounting Basics and Financial Modelling, Fundamentals of Project Management, Business Productivity Tools and more. Participants can also focus their learning through specializations in Banking, Consulting, Data Science, or Supply Chain and Logistics. All the modules are case study and research driven, and are delivered by experienced facilitators drawn from different industries and leading organizations around the world including Microsoft, McKinsey & Co., Nerilus, PZ Cussons, PMI, Wharton Business School, Kellogg School of Management, and Lagos Business School.
